About

Creating a life of PEACE is a  WITHIN Project

Commitment to peace on the planet begins with peace within. One person can make a difference and I am dedicated to creating peace on our planet. My  belief  in the beauty of the human spirit and how each one of us contributes greatly to each other allows the peace and love to come through.

I have spent the last 16 years studying and facilitating personal transformation. My childhood was spent in a Christian home in Abbotsford, BC, Canada, where strong values of family, loyalty, integrity, honesty, courage, and community continue to support her vocation. There were many childhood tragedies, my mom being diagnosed with MS, family distrust, and alcohol abuse, but all of these were part of the process called my life. Not good, not bad, just the process.

I was one of the kids that had to do everything, not try, but simply do. At 14 years of age I began my love of photography when the editor of a local newspaper took me under his wing and taught me the use of the camera and the dark room. At 15 I had my own column in the newspaper. Local plays, beauty pageants, and modelling were just some of the things I chose to do because I could.

I was part of a bestselling book called Overcomers Inc 2009. This book inspired thousands of people to become their personal best despite the outside influences.

I just passed my Brown Belt in Sun Hang Do after training for three years. Next year I will reach Black Belt status.

My career in sales enabled me to win awards for top direct sales and marketing. Earning a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Behavioral Science, I am passionate about supporting both in the business and personal fields. Throughout the past year I took some time off to complete my PHD which was awarded in September 2011.

As much as I have done, the path was not always easy. It is said that the more you have to do, the more opposition there is. 15 years ago I entered Alcoholics Anonymous after several years of drowning the pain of losing my sisterinlaw Jodi, the separation of my parents, the mistrust in my marriage, the death of several key people in my life, the betrayal of important people in my life and the injustice of going through a murder investigation that implicated my brother. All of these combined supported a life of pain that became my identity. Overcoming this pain and creating a life that is full of joy was something I never thought was possible as I was going through this.

It is my belief that no matter what we go through in life we can overcome it, we can live a life with joy.

As a Facilitator, and Trainer, I have supported hundreds of people n ot only  to overcome tragedy but also to achieve their dreams of excellence in all areas of their lives.

Married for 24 years to an amazing man, John, raising three children and now blessed with four grandchildren, it is easy to see that family is very important.  Favorite times include spending time with the grandchildren and watching and nurturing them.

This also is one of those things that prompted urgency. The next generation is here and what have we left them. YOU Seminars is designed to correct the thoughts of the past, promote the healing of today so that our children’s children can heal too.

Intuition development is key to thriving in the business world today. The programs at YOU Seminars teach people how to trust that part of themselves that speaks truth whether in business or in their personal lives. It is an easier way to live life when you tap into that space of  knowing.

Commitment to excellence, a passion for truth, and the perseverance to get the job done is what makes me an effective trainer, coach, and friend. I walk the talk. I have been through some life and overcome many things.

For me, having a slow thyroid and being over 40, the doctors told me that losing weight was going to be very tough. This year I released 44 lbs of weight that no longer served me.

Oprah has talked about doing what you love for years. Four years ago I quit the job that had taught me a lot but no longer gave me the freedom to create as I really wanted to. Today I do what I love to do and I get paid well for a service that is needed in our world.

My relationship with my husband and my children and grandchildren is so important to me. Spending time with all of them is key.

Giving back to the community is part of the spiritual component. As a leader in my life, I support many organizations in the community and abroad.

I am honoured when people take my courses and seminars. I honour the trust they put in me and my company and I stand by the motto of underpromising and overdelivering. You matter and I hope that everyone gets to overcome their life processes too.

I hope to see you soon
